Lori Narewski: Marketing Manager
Lori is the newest member of The Alpha Group. Joining us in Fall 2019, she brings with her a background of business, marketing, and education. Having ten years of experience teaching in vocational high schools, preparing students for the workforce, it is fitting for her to be part of the marketing team for a staffing agency. Lori has a bachelor’s in accounting with a psychology concentration, master’s in business education and co-op coordinator, as well as a graduate certificate in social media marketing.
If you spend a few minutes talking with Lori, you’ll quickly see her excitement and passion for marketing. The wheels are constantly turning on how to best communicate with The Alpha Group’s customers. She is a strong proponent of realizing the only way to get better is to listen to the customers (clients and candidates), as well as coworkers.
One of the first impressions Lori had of The Alpha Group was the family atmosphere. Everyone has their own personality and adds to the team. It’s exciting to work with a team that helps each other out.
If you were to walk into Lori’s home you would find her relaxing with her husband, and two sons – the few times they are home from college. She may be curled up reading a book or watching her favorite show, “The Voice.” Other times you won’t find her there, because she is off socializing with friends and family, at a country music concert, most likely at a college lacrosse game - cheering on her two sons.
Lori is the only Alpha member who does not own a pet. This is because she’s on the go all the time. However, she does love cats, and always had one growing up.
One of Lori’s hobbies, when she has time to do it in between traveling and socializing, is writing an inspirational blog for her friends and family to enjoy. She encourages her readers to live life to the fullest.
One quote she lives by, and encourages others to do as well, is, “To be nobody-but-yourself, in a world which is doing its best, night and day, to make you everybody else, means to fight the hardest battle which any human being can fight…never stop fighting!” ~e.e. cummings
